Mountainside counselors support students to be successful in school. Our goal is that all students develop the skills and habits to pass classes, earn credits, and discover their individual strengths. We know that being successful in high school opens more doors for students. It gives them choices for how to continue their education; it gives them opportunities for scholarships ; and it gives them a wider set of choices for their future careers and professions.
Some of the most foundational skills that can help students be successful in school are: organization, time management, and regularly practicing the skills or reviewing the content from their classes. Counselors have created and gathered resources to support these foundational skills.
